FAQs

Cosmetic tattooing (also known as permanent makeup or micropigmentation) involves implanting pigment into the skin to enhance features like brows, lips, or eyeliner. Unlike traditional tattoos, the pigment fades gradually over time, typically lasting 1–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and pigment choice.
-
Most cosmetic tattooing requires two sessions: an initial appointment and a perfecting touch-up 6–8 weeks later. In some cases, additional sessions may be recommended for optimal colour retention, especially for clients with oily or sensitive skin, or when doing cover-ups or colour corrections.
-
Discomfort is usually minimal. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the treatment to ensure your comfort. Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratching or pressure. Pain tolerance varies, but we aim to make the process as relaxing as possible.

Healing typically takes 7–14 days, with full pigment settling around 4–6 weeks. During the initial healing phase, you may notice slight scabbing, dryness, or fading. This is completely normal. It’s essential to follow the aftercare instructions we provide to ensure the best retention and results.
